Make no mistake, these pedals are not hardcore, scoopy metal-based pedals. These are classic, old school rock pedals that are so evocative of the era you can almost smell the stale beer in the carpet of (insert pub here). Think Angus Young, think Slash, think Iron Maiden, think Sabbath, think Chisel, it's rock and roll. Exactly the way you remember it. It's a real 12AX7 tube glowing at their analogue hearts.
Big kudos to HiWatt for these. If you're looking for the perfect pedal to kick your valve amp into that hot, saturated drive, or a way to warm up and tube-ify your solid state amp, without resorting to modelling technology, this could well be what you've been crying out for.
